The Woodville Pier was the southernmost stop on Canandaigua Lake for the steamers.   Getting on a ferry in Woodville meant you would be on the water for hours before reaching the Canandaigua Pier.  Sitting back on the deck with a Woodville in your hand might have made the trip seem a bit shorter or not long enough, depending on your perspective.

  • 2 oz Butlers Pantry Gin

  • 1 oz Paddle Wheel Corn Whiskey

  • 1/2 oz White Port

  • Lemon twist

Step 1

Add Butlers Pantry, Paddle Wheel and Port to ice filled cocktail mixing glass. Stir 30-40 turns with a bar spoon.

Step 2

Strain to cocktail glass.

Step 3

Twist lemon peel around a bar spoon handle over cocktail.  Garnish with twist and serve.
